For the last 16 years, I’ve worn contacts on and off to compensate for my mild myopia. Usually, I have no problem with the little buggers, but for the past few years, the pollen season in North Carolina has gotten the best of me. Maybe the “ultra-orthodox sex commandos” who have been lurking thought that my site was some form of Internet porn. Perhaps we had too many hits, and the server crashed. Coulda been a vast right-wing conspiracy. Any of those would be cool.
